How Online Learning Works

How Online Learning Works With Kaplan High School

Online learning provides solutions for the educational needs of today's modern world. KHS students can get a high school education and earn a diploma while working online from virtually anywhere, at anytime. Part-time and full-time programs are both designed to address individual student's needs and goals. Our learning programs also accommodate diverse learning styles and speeds, allowing students to work at their own pace.

KHS for You-5 Steps to Success:

  1. Enroll part time (one to three courses) or full time (four to six courses). Get ahead, make up credits, or earn your diploma.
  2. Log in and work from an Internet-connected computer. Assignments, tests, and quizzes are online, all the time.
  3. Work at your own pace. Curriculum is designed for learners at various skill levels.
  4. Get help when you need it. Certified Instructors are accessible via virtual whiteboard, phone, instant message (IM), or email.
  5. Earn a diploma. Kaplan High School is accredited, which means course credits count toward earning a high school diploma, not a GED or just another certificate.*

*If you are working toward a diploma at another school, always confirm in advance with your other school that it will accept the transfer of KHS credits.
